SPANISH CORE WORKOUT – THE PRESENT TENSE AND BASIC GRAMMAR IN REVIEW
Ser or estar? Por or para? ¡Ay caramba! If you haven't worked out your Spanish abs in eons or are currently working your way through this core area, come on by! This back-to- basics workout is designed to take you through the usages and conjugations of the present tenses and some of those basic grammar points to get that gut into shape. If you can't run a mile, how the heck are you going to get through a marathon?

¿Hablé? ¿He hablado? ¿Hablaba? ¡Ayúdame! When do I use which? You've studied the past tense in Spanish, but your past tense muscles are still weak and flabby. If you are not sure about when to use which form of the past tense and why, then this is the workshop for you! Your teacher will help you tone your Spanish glutes by guiding you through an intense grammatical review and practical exercises, making sure you are able to use each tense more accurately at the end of the class.

Be it the subjunctive, the conditional or those pesky double object pronouns, this workout is for you. We'll help you smooth out these trouble areas of Spanish grammar and help you make your Spanish leaner, meaner and more correct.

You may not be the muscleman on the beach but we'll help you feel more confident in your Spanish bathing suit. And in the present tense only!

We'll help you bulk up your conversational biceps with guided conversation using the present, past and future tenses. With regular practice, you too can spar with the middleweights!

Comment ça se prononce? Get ready to pucker up and work those mouth muscles! No matter where you are in your French studies, there is nothing more challenging than French pronunciation. This workout is designed for all levels of French learners looking to improve their pronunciation accuracy and reduce their native accent. This class will cover the essentials of French phonetics in a practical way in order to train your ears to hear and your mouth to produce French sounds accurately. The advanced pronunciation section steps-up the linguistic challenge to help improve pronunciation when reading new words.

INTRO / TRAVEL CRASH COURSES
Want to make sure that the next time you travel abroad you don't order the sheep's brain entrée instead of the steak? Interested in just checking out a new language before making a commitment? Consider this your first date! Our 3-hour Intro/Travel courses will take you through the vocabulary and phrases you will need to get through a couple of typical travel situations and introduce you to your new second language. If you fall in love with your new language and decide to take a class with us within in 3 months, we'll waive the $50 registration fee! The only question you have to ask yourself is "What have I got to lose?"

A representative from ABC Language Exchange will be greeting you at the reception area on the 15th floor. If you are asked to sign in at the lobby, be sure to note that you are going to GEOS.
Please try to come 10-15 minutes early so there is time to check you in.
If you wish to withdraw, your tuition is fully refundable up to one week before the workshop. After that, no refunds, transfers, or school credit will be given.
We will also send you the class location in your enrollment confirmation email.
