We start you from the very beginning and move you through the basics as you get on the road to literacy in Chinese. Part of your last lesson will be dedicated to learning how to type Chinese on a computer using the top popular software programs. |

ONE-NIGHT MANDARIN WORKSHOPS
TONE WORKSHOP - Intense Review & Practice: No matter what level you are in Chinese you can always use a review of Mandarin tones. This workshop will start from the basics of the four main tones and move on to practicing combinations and exceptions. If you are a beginner and would like to focus one evening on this important aspect of Mandarin, this is a good workshop for you. Above-beginners too can benefit from this intense pronunciation workshop. If you find yourself able to speak in basic Mandarin but native speakers are not understanding you, tones may be the problem and this workshop may be the solution. This workshop of no more than 15 attendees will be conducted mostly in English as students learn to hone their mastery of Chinese tones.
