 ABOUT OUR CLASSES: Taking group lessons at ABC Language Exchange is a fun, interactive way to learn the language of your choice. Our teachers are trained professionals who bring years of experience to the job and know how to teach language in a dynamic and effective way.
SIGNING UP FOR TOTAL BEGINNER CLASSES: If you are new to the language, you may sign up for any of our total beginner classes. Just click on the language of your choice to see what we are currently offering. You have a choice of how many weeks you can sign up for because all of our classes are ongoing. Once your first enrollment is up, you may opt to purchase another package of weeks and continue to attend your same class as it progresses. For more information, please review our GROUP FAQ.
If you are interested in future classes, you may fill out our SCHEDULING SURVEY for the following month to let us know what you are looking or get on our EMAIL LIST so that you can get monthly schedule updates. Please note, if we are not currently offering group classes in the language of your choice, you can let us know you're interested by filling in our REQUEST A CLASS form. If we see there is enough demand for a language we’ll schedule it. Remember, your vote counts here too!
SIGNING UP FOR ABOVE-BEGINNER CLASSES: If you already have some background in the language, you are welcome to join one of our ongoing classes. You may fill out our SELF-EVALUATION FORM or call us at 212-563-7580 to learn which of our current classes best suits your level. If there is a class that fits your level and schedule, you are welcome to come in and try it out. If all goes well, the trial will be considered the first class of your enrollment and you may choose which of the below packages you would prefer. If the class is not the right level, you will not be charged and we will do our best to find you a more suitable class.

4 weeks $175 (no make-ups)
6 weeks $240 (no make-ups)
8 weeks $300 (no make-ups)
12 weeks $425 (1 make-up added 13th week)
Early Bird Class Pricing
4 weeks $125 (no make-ups)
6 weeks $175 (no make-ups)
8 weeks $215 (no make-ups)
12 weeks $315 (1 make-up added 13th week)
*Early Bird Classes only meet for 1.5 hours*
Intensive Class Pricing
6 weeks $400 (no make-ups)

All total beginner group classes have an 8 week initial enrollment except Spanish & Italian (4 weeks).

Re-enrollments can be for 4, 6, 8, or 12 weeks in all languages.

There is a one-time $50 registration fee for new students.

All materials are INCLUDED in the price of the class.

Standard and Intensive classes are typically 2 hours in length, depending on the number of students enrolled.

12-week enrollments in Standard and Early Bird classes are given an additional group class added to the end of the enrollment as a make-up the 13th week of the initial enrollment in lieu of one absence. The included make-up is not a private lesson.
